Al margen de toda polémica sobre la boda real británica y el sinnúmero de comentarios que ha suscitado la imagen y el estilo de Kate Middleton, creo que podía decirse que la novia ha sido coherente con el estilo e imagen que ha trasmitido en otras ocasiones en sus apariciones publicas y que yo definiría como sencillo y elegante y sin mayores pretensiones que la de cualquier novia que lucir radiante el día de su boda. Después de todo se convirtió en Princesa Real y Duquesa de Cambridge a partir de ayer y es cuando se verá o “no “si es fiel a su estilo o se producirá como es el caso de otras princesas cambios de acuerdo a las exigencias de protocolo de la monarquía que representa.

Pero según comentarios vertidos en Vogue, Kate ya ha mostrado determinación acerca de su imagen cuando a no escasas semanas poco antes del gran evento mediático de su boda, el día del shooting con Mario Testino para realizar las imágenes oficiales de la pareja, decidió desmaquillarse y crear ella su propio look.

Analizando con más detalle el maquillaje que lucio para el día del evento diría que es muy acertado y ajustado a su rasgos: ojos verdes y pelo castaño claro. Los labios en un favorecedor tono rosa y el blush en rosa, quizás para mi gusto un poco cargado sobre los pómulos. Mientras el rostro se mantuvo oculto con el velo hasta su trayecto al altar no fue notorio pero a lo largo de la ceremonia en el recinto de la Abadía, las fotos no dejaron duda que algo menos de blush y algo más de luz le darían más dulzura al rostro.
